Using Windows troubleshooter:

Click on Search on Charm bar and type Troubleshooting. Click on the very first option.
A new window will open. Click View all from the left pane.
Scroll down to the bottom and click on Windows update.
Troubleshooter window for Windows update will pop up. Click on NEXT. It may ask you for administrative permission.
The troubleshooter will automatically detect problems and fix it.
Now, close this window and try download/install the app which was previously showing error.

I think the information, Button 17, is something stored internally and is not exposed via the object model.

Original Title: Windows 7 home won't load past start up screen

November 13, 2013 - 15 updates were loading as I shut down my laptop for the night.
I allowed the system to complete updates.
The next day I attempted to boot up my system.
The POST passes with no problems.
Once the system starts to load windows, the system
hangs at a BSOD with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.
the stop code is ***STOP: 0x00000050.
I have attempted to run chkdsk /r but the system says the disk is write protected.

I was able to use the cmd prompt to copy my important files to a usb drive.
SFC /scannow will not run as there is an update waiting to be run after a reboot.
I have rebooted several times.

When I attempt to use my copy of Win 7 pro to repair and/or clean install it hangs at expanding windows files (0%)...
Up until the 13th, my laptop had been running fine.
All the tests I have run ( memtest, system recovery tests in the recovery menu, etc) show no hardware faults.

I am not sure how to find the list of recent updates that were processed on that night.
So I am at a loss for tonight ( 4 more hours of searching for solutions and running a variety of tests).
Where do I go next?

My Asus G75V got stuck, and I had to hold the powerbuton to get it of.
When I start the computer it want boot.

I have read on the forum that a solution to this is to run repair from recovery disc.
The problem is that it
want boot from the cd eather.
Sow, what can I do when I cant boot from cd? I can acess the BIOS.

Using Access 2007 with Win 7, how can I subtract one date (medium time format) from another date and place the number of hours difference between the two times into my table? Using Form, I can display the difference (with AM/PM displayed), but I don't know
how to insert that difference into my Table File. Thanks for any help.

If your table already has the two time values, you should not be saving the difference in the table. Instead you can use a calculated field in any query on the table.
Need more details to figure out how to calculate the difference. If you only want the number of hour boundaries that the two times cover, use DateDiff("h", time1, time2). If you want to include a fraction of an hour, then use DateDiff("n", time1, time2)/60.
If you want the difference in hours and minutes, use DateDiff("n", time1, time2) \ 60 & Format(DateDiff("n', time1, time2) Mod 60, "\:00"). If you want to continue to use the expression time1 - time2 and that (or any sum of thpse) will always be less than
24 hours, then use a custom format in whatever you are using to display the difference 0:00

0x00000008 , or Double Fault , indicates that an exception occurs during a call to the handler for a prior exception.
Typically, the two exceptions are handled serially.
However, there are several exceptions that cannot be
handled serially, and in this situation the processor signals a double fault.
There are two common causes of a double fault:

* A kernel stack overflow.
This overflow occurs when a guard page is hit, and the kernel tries to push a trap frame.
Because there is no stack left, a stack overflow results, causing the double fault.
* A hardware problem.

It may caused by ZoneAlarm, if you have it installed, update the network drivers first .

You can also try this Hotfix if updating the network driver doesn't fix it:
