Alt codes not working Windows 7

I can use the alt key for ctrl+alt+del and alt+F4 and such, but when I try to enter codes such as alt+130 nothing appears.
I went to the character map and tried using the alt codes there and they still don't work, I can copy and paste, but when I try
to enter them using the alt+ nothing happens.
I can use the international keyboard to get my grave accent, but am wondering why alt+130 (what it used to be, and has worked on this computer before) or alt+0223 (as recommended for the font) don't result in
the é, or anything for that matter.

First thanks for your carrying our issues,
I have boring problems every i join all pages with any browers as IE, Firefox, Chrome etc...
1-When I join at any pages by using IE nor Firefox, I always saw double underline link under sentence or words,

2-When I just point to double underline links, I saw this adds appear,

3-When I clicked on double underline link, it brought me to get page.

I have a workbook that contains invoices.
In col F - the value of the invoice
In col I - manually entered the date the invoice was paid.
I col K - formula to display to display if the invoice was paid on time [Paid OK], paid late [*** PAID LATE ***] or has not yet been paid [*** LATE ***].
The invoices are to be paid by 04/01/2012.

I have an overview workbook that shows Management overview of the state of the invoices.
This shows, amongst other things: I am showing only the formula in the ‘Income’ col.

Still To Be Paid                    £5,958.00

My problem is that the last line (Still To Be Paid) is not correct and should display:
Still To Be Paid                    £5,244.00
(£51.00)                 £5,193.00
The difference between the figures is £714.00 - which just happens to be the correct calculation from ‘Paid Late’.
Is this because I am using *** in the search value or something else.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes! You have answered your own question.
*** LATE *** will find both that value and *** PAID LATE *** because the asterisks will be the wild cards both sides of LATE.
To establish that is the reason, you could select the range of data and then use Find/Replace and replace PAID LATE with PAID_LATE.
(Include an underscore so it will not match *** LATE ***)
If you include the cells with the formulas and the Option for Find/Replace are Lookin formulas then it should correct the formulas also.

I hope this is the right forum to post questions about the Answer NNTP Bridge. If not, please redirect me.
Arguably, the questions have more to do with OE. But I thought that other NB users might have encountered the same issues.
I am using OE6 (6.00.2900.5512.xpsp.080413-2105) on XP SP3.

1.
The recommended NB usage is to download bodies along with headers at the same time. I do not see that option in OE6. Bodies seem to be downloaded only when I open an interesting message.
Am I overlooking something? Or is this simply not an OE6 feature?
Note: I have "dont synchronize" set. I wonder if the headers+bodies usage is referring to the "all messages" or "new messages" synchronize feature.

2.
When I open an interesting message, it appears in a Unicode (UTF-8) window, not HTML, even though I have the following configuration:
Read: uncheck "Read all messages in plain text"
Send: News Sending Format: HTML
HTLM Settings / Encode: Quoted Printable
Am I overlooking something? Or is this simply not an OE6 feature?
Note: I did notice an improvement in format after I unchecked "Read all message in plain text". Quoted text that appears in a gray box in the GUI is now indented in the OE6 window. But it does not appear in a gray box in OE6.

So basically I'm making a database in Excel for my company.
They didn't want it in Axess.
For a specific energy efficiency technology like Central AC, I have multiple heating zones.
All of these zones have different costs/savings/etc, so I would like to
stay in the same row for the technology, choose the zone from one drop down list in a cell (e.g.
1, 2, or 3), and then have the subsequent cells in the same row (I have like 30 columns of data following it that depend on that heating zone) auto-populate with
pre-entered data for each zone.
Is there any way to do this without making a gargantuan amount of IF statements?

Go to the Start button.
In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
