Windows Vista; email takes forever receiving messages and when it finally finishes receiving, it posts each message three times.
I cannot find any information on how to fix that problem.
I appreciate any advice.

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve E-mail takes forever to receive messages in Windows.

Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,

Quite often when I go to wake Windows 7 from sleep mode, My computer refuses to wake by simply moving the mouse.
I have to hold the power button till the computer shuts off, than press the power on again. Other times when I put it into sleep mode
it wakes minits latter. I have set all swithes to never turn off hard drive and never auto put computer into sleep mode.

Ensure that to enable the option of Allow this device to wake the computer for the Mouse and check if it helps, to do that follow the below provided steps.

1.      Click on start.
2.      Now type devmgmt.msc in the search files and programs field.
3.      At the device manager screen, right click on the Mice and other pointing devices.
4.      Select properties.
5.      Now you have to click on power management tab.
6.      Now check mark Allow this device to wake the computer.

Also Update the display adapters on your computer, to do that follow the steps below.

Update your video card, If you all ready have the latest drivers, uninstall and reinstall them, as drivers can quite easily become corrupted.
b.
Here are the steps to uninstall the display drivers from Device Manager:

1.
Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and    then clicking Device Manager.
2.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3.
On the Device Manager window, look for the Display adapter and let us know if you see any yellow exclamation    mark in front of the Device.
4.
Right click on the Device and select Uninstall.
5.
Re-install the latest Display drivers from the Manufacturer’s website.
6.

Click on Search on Charm bar and type Troubleshooting. Click on the very first option.
A new window will open. Click View all from the left pane.
Scroll down to the bottom and click on Windows update.
Troubleshooter window for Windows update will pop up. Click on NEXT. It may ask you for administrative permission.
The troubleshooter will automatically detect problems and fix it.
Now, close this window and try download/install the app which was previously showing error.

Thanks for your ansvers i hawe removed Rocket Dock toolbar and changed Winzip and Winrar to X64 versions and the problem sems to stopped olso others X32 programs hawe i changed to X 64 versions.

Need help with Blus screen of death(BSOD) on my toshiba laptop

Hello all, ive been having a bit of trouble with my laptop the past week or so.
While playing a game(minecraft) i would randomly have a BSOD error and my laptop would restart.
At first i gave it no thought but when it happened again i decided to try and
do a little research, but im not that great with technology and such so i got no where with my own research.

So could anyone point me in the direction of some possible routes for getting this fixed.

do you guys suggest i bring it to the shop and see if they can check it out, what would i need if i did.

I did get a program to read some sort of "dump" file that is made when a BSOD occurs, should i post what that program says here? the program is BlueScreenView, if yes, what do i post from the viewer thing? There are 2 main screens on it, oen that shos the
different dump files(which is on top) and on the bottom it list different file names for each dump file i think with some of them highlighted.

im not that good with tech so i dont know much but do i need to post anything about my laptop or any info from the dumpfile and would that info help in any way in figuring out the problem? just tell me what i need to post and ill get the information posted

ps: I dont think playing minecraft is the cause of the BSOD and crashing but i only get it when playing minecraft, so i dont know if minecraft is causing the crashes and such.
I watch videos and such all the time and i never crash.
Ill try and play a different
game and see if that causes my laptop to crash and maybe the cause is high usuage of my laptop, as i was told games require a lot of power from a laptop/computer if they arent the "best" laptop for gaming.
but yh, if anyone thinks they can help me and needs
certain information plz tell me so i can get it to you.
if you guys think it would be best to get a professional to look at mylaptop just say, though im saving that as a last resort.

f11 key not working in windows 7 - have wireless mouse and keyboard

I was having problems with my HP computer not recognizing my second USB drive (J: drive). I called HP and the last thing the tech support person said was to restart and use the F11 key ASAP. I tried for 90 minutes getting the f11 key to work with absolutely
no luck. Is it the wireless component that is too slow and I need a corded mouse and keyboard to "beat the clock"? Has my f11 key become disabled?
There's practically no time to get into the system diagnostics no matter how quickly my fngers type.

Well, Honestly I don't know why he asked you to press F11, maybe is just some key that will work for HP computers.

Usually most computer manufacturers use:
- F2 to access the BIOS setup
- F10 - F8 to access the list of available boot devices.
Example CD, HardDrive, USB etc
- F8 is for Windows boot loader menu, where you can choose to start on Safe mode, Safe mode with Networking, safe mode with command prompt..etc.

- Check if you have a KEY called F-Lock in your keyboard.
- When rebooting, press the F-Lock key and then try pressing F11.

This have sometimes worked for me, in my case I have a MS Ergonomic Keyboard which contains a F-Lock to enable and disable F keys.
