Dear Members,

I have many .txt files that I need to import into excel (Office 2007 in windows XP SP3) and delete [Solved] Word 2010 objects not appearing in PDF some rows/columns and then save in .txt back again.

I have noticed that when I do that, many special characters (mostly *) comes up in every cells.
When I Ctrl+F for *, I can find many entries, but the * is not visible in any cells.
When I tried to replace * with a space or any other character, whole of
the cell Windows 7: USB Printer Icon disappears when using USB001: USB Virtual Printer Port, in Device and Printers Folder. [Anwsered] contents got replaced!!

The software that I wanted to upload these edited .txt files into does When ever my computer goes to sleep when your not using it, it doesn't turn back on whenever you use the power button? Why? not accept files with these special characters.

Please help me solve this problem.

Hi,
try this ..

press Ctrl+A
Edit > Replace > Find What (write the below 2 characters)
 ~* (tilde and asterisk)
(the tilde character is below [Anwsered] Linking _to_ the Table of Contents _from_ section headings Esc button)
Replace with (leave it blank)
Replace All > OK >Close
