Are there problems with window live that cause keyboard errors and error message that says windows live is not responding .

I try to send a email in Hotmail Live account and have keyboard hesitation, freeze and error message at bottom of page that the program is not responding and looking for a fix.
then it runs ok for a minute and does the same thing again.
I will be typing
and look down and nothing happening, the first few letters of a sentence and the same thing , I had a issue with the automatic downloads.
I though it was fixed.
