Hi,

Beginning with Windows Vista and Windows 7, Microsoft Anna is the default voice in Narrator.

Microsoft Anna is a SAPI (Speech Application Programming Interface) 5-only voice.
However TTS (Text to Speech) engines compatible with SAPI 5 version voices are available from third parties.

Open Action Center by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under System and Security, clicking Review your computer's status.
