hi, i am running windows 7 x32-bit.
when i try to backup, an error message appears with code 0x80080005 (excecution failed).
I tried doing a clean boot but to no avail.
please help

Which security software is installed on the computer?

You may temporarily uninstall any security software if installed on the computer and then check if you are able to perform backup and restore of data.
Note - If you uninstall any security software for troubleshooting then do not forget to enable it after the troubleshooting gets complete
as your computer will be under risk.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair corrupted or missing system files:
