Apparent discrepancy in OS(C:) Used Space/Free Space Properties.

Shown in  Properties of my operating disc is the following :- 89.9 GB free of 222 GB and used space 132GB which calculates correct.
However when I open the disc to reveal the various files/extensions/folders and then open each of these individually and right
click properties, I am able to list  the sizes of each file/extension/folder seperately.
After I arrive at a final total, it is only 21GB not 132GB.
Am I completely wrong in the way I am attempting to find out what is using so much space up ?

Machine Throttling

• Go to the Start button.
