Between two date selections

I currently have a sheet that will count an event...
"pH 1" when two critiera are met.
First the month in "hold Order Data Entry" column C are the same as my Month selection in E34 and when the pH 1 is identified in column X.
Code is
=COUNTIFS('Hold Order Data Entry'!$C:$C,'User Defined Analyisis'!$E$37, 'Hold Order Data Entry'!$X:$X,"pH 1")
 
I would like to have the ability for a user to select between selected dates.
I have a column (Date Produced) Column D in teh Hold Order Entry sheet.
Can I have code that would pull information for the date range I select.
 
Two sheets
1.
Hold Order Data Entry (This is the key data sheet.
Column C= Date by month only, Column D= exact date entered formated as 6/17/2012, Column X is the description = pH 1 in this example
2.
User Defined Analysis (C37 = Start Date and C38 = End date) for the user to select a time frame.
 
Any way to easily change the code from looking at Column C for a month to look at Column D and group between the dates selected?

Use the System File Checker tool to repair corrupted or missing system files:
