How to Fix Problem - After latest update; Internet connection fails?

After latest update; Internet connection fails

After lastest updates; I connect to my wireless network but can't connect to the internet?  The updates are:
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2732500)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2729094)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2732487)
Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2647753)
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 9 for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2722913)

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2731847) Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2712808).

If I restore to date prior to those updates I can connect like I am now asking this question.
But as soon as it updates, I can't.
Other computers in house can connect to wireless network and to internet, just not my Dell Inspiron One.
Need to resolve.
Thank you.

Hope this helps!

Run CHKDSK

  • Go to the Start button.
  • In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
  • Reboot your computer.
An error might pop up:

"Access denied as you do not have significant privileges. You have to invoke this utility in elevated mode."

If you receive the above error message, it means you are not logged into you computer as an Administrator. If that's the case, follow these steps to run the command prompt in elevated mode:

  • Go to "All Programs > Accessories" and right click on "Command Prompt".
  • Select "Run as Administrator".
