E-mail takes forever to receive messages

Original Title: "Email problems"
Windows Vista; email takes forever receiving messages and when it finally finishes receiving, it posts each message three times.
I cannot find any information on how to fix that problem.
I appreciate any advice.

Download SmartPCFixer to Fix It (Free)

Go to Tools | Accounts | Mail and make sure only one copy of the mail account is listed.  If that is not the issue, then check for 3rd party program interference.  See point 3 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve E-mail takes forever to receive messages in Windows.

1. Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
3. Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.
