Windows 7 crash (BSOD) during sleep and hibernate?

I can't replicate how this happens; seems to be random, but every so often my laptop (Samsung R580) will have crashed during sleep or hibernate. Doesn't matter how it gets to sleep or hibernate - power button, lid or power settings - but when I wake it
up, I have to restart Windows. I turned off the restart and got the BSOD with a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error this morning.
Minidump shows:

According to the Driver Update function, my pci.sys is current.

I've had the computer about a week now and was getting the crash before adding any USB devices (external HD, GPS, thumbdrive).
System is an i5-430M core, 4GB RAM, 500GB drive, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Any ideas on how to fix this annoying bug? Thank you!

Well, I thought disabling the NetBIOS might have been the trick, but this morning when I got up, there was the ole BSOD.
But when I did some more digging around, it appears Windows Firewall and Defender were running again, too. Maybe in one of my restores or reconfigs, I forgot to disable them or something (anyone ever heard of them starting themselves before?).
I uninstalled ZA, confirmed Windows Firewall and Defender were disabled, restarted and then reinstalled ZA. I also put the Atheros in the Trusted zone and disabled NetBIOS over TCP again.
We'll see how this fares.
No.compromise: No, they appear to be the same, which doesn't help unless there was some stray tron in the installation that a reinstall corrected.

5 days now and no crashing/BSOD. I've been putting it to sleep manually and it even moves to hibernate by itself (according to my power settings) when I leave it for an extended period of time. I'm going to try changing the lid setting to sleep next, but
I think the solution is to make sure that Windows Defender and Firewall are disabled and NetBIOS over TCP is disabled BEFORE installing Zone Alarm.

Run CHKDSK to Fix Windows 7 crash (BSOD) during sleep and hibernate?

Go to the Start button.
In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Reboot your computer.

NOTE: You might receive an error message that states:

"Access denied as you do not have significant privileges. You have to invoke this utility in elevated mode."

If you receive the above error message, it means you are not logged into you computer as an Administrator. If that's the case, follow these steps to run the command prompt in elevated mode:

Go to theStart button.
Go to "All Programs > Accessories" and right click on "Command Prompt".
Select "Run as Administrator".
In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Reboot your computer.
