cannot figure out printing problem

I'm not very good with technology only typing.
Either way I cannot get my printer to print 2 copies at one time.
It will only print one copy at a time.
I have tried of everything I know to do.
It just wont work.
I cant understand why.
Its not my printer
its my laptop.
I'm doing something wrong and i cant figure out what to do to get it to print more than 1 copy at a time.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

We have a few questions to better assess the situation:
1.       What is the model of your printer?
2.       What is the model of your laptop?
3.       What program are you trying to print through?
4.       What things have you tried so far?
If you are printing from something like Word, when you choose to print, in the window that comes up there is a section called “Copies”.
Under “Copies” where is says
Number of copies: you can increase the number of copies there.

Run CHKDSK

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Reboot your computer.
