Computer is very slow to wake up from sleep after Windows update on 2/24/2012

I recently did my windows update on 2/24/2012 and since than my computer has been taking 10x longer to wake up from sleeping.
it has been buggy, and just having windows issues.
Are there currently any known issues that came out with this most recent update?

Open the System Maintenance troubleshooter by clicking the Start

Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
In the future:
I would suggest you to install updates one by one and restart the computerafter installing
each update to check which update is causing the issue.
Also make a note of the updates you install on the computer.
Once you come to know which update is causing the issue, let us know.
Also change Windows Updates settings to “ Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them”, so that the updates don’t get automatically installed on the computer.
You may wish to change AU to the "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting.
Once you've done that, you will have to approve which updates are downloaded, which updates are installed andwhen they're installed.

After the you know which update is causing the issue, before trying a system restore I would suggest you to try the hardware and device troubleshooter and check if that fixes the issue.

My Windows Update is set to require my permission before installing; "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting.

Optional Updates - Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don’t do it.

As a rule, it is best to install only security updates.
And you should always stay away from Optional drivers from the Microsoft site! Chances are the drivers you have are fine just the way they are.
If you did have a need to update them, you should
go to the actual manufacturer's website to do so.

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
