dllhost eating up my memory, causing PC to crash

I've been looking at my processes in Task Manager, and I've noticed that dllhost COM Surrogate is consuming a large chunk of my memory.
Just now, the dllhost has consumed my memory to the point that it had crashed my PC and I received a short Blue Screen
to warn me that the PC would reboot safely to prevent any damage (I have 4GB of memory by the way).

• In the Export Range box, be sure that "Selected branch" is selected.
• Click Save.
• The file is then saved with a .reg file extension.
• You now have a backup of your MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION-related registry entry.
